Yes. Our device menu - including Pixel8 RF microneedling, Alma Soprano ICE laser hair removal, PRX-T33, and BioRePeel - was selected specifically for versatility across Fitzpatrick I–VI skin types with appropriate protocols. For treatments where candidacy varies by skin type (such as IPL or fractional laser), we provide honest candidacy evaluation and recommend alternatives where more appropriate.
Flagship Service FAQs
Pixel8 RF is a fractional radiofrequency microneedling system that combines precision microneedles with radiofrequency energy delivered through insulated gold-tipped needles into the deeper skin. Traditional microneedling uses needles alone; the added RF energy supports a deeper collagen and elastin response. Pixel8 RF is suitable across Fitzpatrick I–VI with appropriate protocols.
Often referred to as the "PRX Peel," PRX-T33 is a needle-free bio-revitalization treatment designed to improve skin quality without the visible peeling associated with traditional chemical peels. The treatment combines TCA, hydrogen peroxide, and kojic acid in a formulation that supports collagen activity in the deeper skin while leaving the outer skin layer intact. Minimal to no social downtime; mild temporary redness may occur.
The Acne Bootcamp is our structured 6-week program for adult acne. It combines weekly in-office treatments (extraction facials, LED, targeted peels, clarifying serum work) with a personalized medical-grade home care regimen and provider accountability between sessions. Each plan is customized based on your acne subtype - hormonal, cystic, inflammatory, comedonal, or mixed.
IPL Photofacial is generally best suited for Fitzpatrick I–III skin and clients focused on sun damage, uneven tone, surface pigmentation, and small facial redness. For Fitzpatrick IV and above (common across Aventura and Fort Lauderdale), we evaluate candidacy carefully and may recommend alternatives such as laser toning or medical-grade brightening protocols. Candidacy is confirmed at consultation.
The Signature Facial is our proprietary customized facial protocol - a 60–90 minute medical-grade session built around your skin's needs on the day of your appointment. Every session typically includes skin analysis, double cleanse, custom exfoliation, extractions where indicated, active serum work, sculpting massage, LED phototherapy, and a masque targeting your primary concern. Products are selected from ZO Skin Health, KB-Pure, or Noon Aesthetics based on your skin.
Yes. The Alma Soprano ICE is designed for safe treatment across all Fitzpatrick skin types (I–VI) with appropriate protocols. Its three-wavelength diode design and sapphire cooling tip support comfort and safety across the diverse South Florida population we serve. Candidacy and protocol settings are confirmed at consultation.
M2 Service FAQs
Microneedling with PRP combines precision microneedling with platelet-rich plasma concentrated from your own blood during the session. The platelets release growth factors that support the skin's natural repair process. Many clients know this treatment by its popular informal name, the "vampire facial." Suitable across all Fitzpatrick skin types with appropriate protocols.
Both pair microneedling with a topical that supports the skin's repair process, but the topicals differ. PRP uses platelet-rich plasma concentrated from your own blood during the session. Exosomes use lab-produced signaling molecules applied topically - no blood draw required. Neither is universally "better"; the right choice depends on your preferences and goals, discussed at consultation.
The WarmLift Facial is a non-invasive skin-firming facial combining controlled thermal energy with facial massage, active serums, and finishing skincare. Unlike needle-based treatments or ablative laser resurfacing, WarmLift has no visible downtime - most clients leave looking refreshed and return directly to work or events. A popular pre-event treatment and standing monthly facial.
BioRePeel is a bio-stimulating peel developed in Italy by CMed, combining TCA with lactobionic acid, salicylic acid, tartaric acid, and a blend of amino acids, vitamins, and GABA. Both BioRePeel and PRX-T33 are no-downtime peels: PRX-T33 is often selected when the primary goal is improving skin firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality, while BioRePeel may be selected when exfoliation, brightness and texture are key concerns.
A Herbal Peel is a plant-based exfoliating treatment that uses a blend of botanical powders - herbs, enzymes, and botanical extracts - to support natural surface renewal. Unlike acid-based chemical peels (TCA, glycolic, salicylic), the Herbal Peel's mechanism relies primarily on botanical ingredients. Often selected by clients who prefer a plant-based approach to exfoliation and brightening.
The Green Peel is a botanical peel system developed by German dermatologist Dr. Christine Schrammek. It combines selected herbs - including bromelain, horsetail, rosemary, and Centella asiatica - massaged into the skin to support natural renewal. Offered in three intensities (Fresh Up, Energy, and the classic Green Peel), the system is customized to your skin, goals, and schedule.
A typical cadence is every 4 weeks, customized based on your skin's response, acne pattern, and home care consistency. Hormonal patterns may call for more frequent visits during specific windows. Clients focused on more pronounced acne concerns often step into our structured 6-week Acne Bootcamp program for coordinated support.
Fractional laser resurfacing is generally selected by clients focused on deeper texture concerns, more pronounced sun damage, acne scarring, or fine lines that lighter treatments haven't fully addressed. Candidacy depends on skin type, treatment area, and device settings. For Fitzpatrick V–VI skin common across Aventura and Fort Lauderdale, we evaluate candidacy carefully and may recommend alternatives like Pixel8 RF microneedling or PRX-T33 where more appropriate.
The Carbon Laser Facial - also known as the Hollywood Peel, Black Doll Facial, or Carbon Peel - is a device-based facial that applies activated carbon to the skin and then uses a Q-switched laser to target the carbon, supporting pore appearance, oil control, and overall glow. Sessions typically run 30–45 minutes with limited to no visible social downtime. A common pre-event treatment.
No. This is a common myth - vellus hair (the fine "peach fuzz" removed during dermaplaning) grows back at the same texture and color. It does not become coarser or darker. Dermaplaning combines gentle blade exfoliation with removal of surface dead skin cells and vellus hair, resulting in a smoother surface and brighter appearance.
An LED Facial uses specific wavelengths of light-emitting diodes applied to the skin. Different wavelengths support different concerns: red light generally supports radiance and the appearance of fine lines; blue light is used in acne-focused protocols; near-infrared supports deeper calming. The treatment is non-invasive - no heat, no UV, no visible downtime - and is often layered with other facials for added support.
Session count varies significantly based on pigment type, depth, color, age of the tattoo, and your body's clearance rate. Some brows fade in 3–5 sessions; others require more. Microblading, powder brows, and traditional cosmetic tattoos all respond differently. We provide an honest estimate after assessing your specific brow at consultation.

Cross-Cutting FAQs
Many of our treatments - Signature Facial, PRX-T33, BioRePeel, LED, Dermaplane, WarmLift, Carbon Laser Facial, Acne Facial, and appropriately scheduled Alma Soprano ICE laser - can be performed year-round when combined with daily broad-spectrum SPF 50+ and responsible sun protection. Treatments requiring stricter sun avoidance (IPL, fractional laser, brow tattoo removal) are often scheduled during lower-sun periods. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential year-round for South Florida skin regardless of treatment.
We work with three medical-grade product lines selected for South Florida skin realities: ZO Skin Health, KB-Pure, and Noon Aesthetics. Product selection is customized to your skin type, tolerance, and goals during your consultation - every home care regimen we recommend is matched to your specific skin and treatment plan.
For most treatments, we recommend an initial consultation and skin analysis to confirm candidacy, discuss your goals, and map a protocol tailored to your skin. Many simpler treatments (such as the Signature Facial, Dermaplane Facial, or LED Facial) can be booked directly, with analysis performed at the appointment. Advanced treatments (Pixel8 RF, PRX-T33, laser hair removal, IPL, fractional laser) are preceded by a consultation.
SkinLift operates by appointment for consistency and quality of care. Given our boutique setting, same-day and next-day appointments are often available - call us or book online to check availability.
